General- use for most topics in 7th and 8th grade
has nearly everything- use search box and key words:
www.sciencenewsforkids.org
www.howstuffworks.com
http://en.wikipedia.org
www.thinkquest.org/library/
http://www.dummies.com/how-to.html
http://www.ducksters.com/science/
https://kids.usa.gov/teens/science/index.shtml
Other Searches:
A good way to find a site is to use a search engine such as google.com. Simply type a key word. Or try typing in the word science then a key word. For example, “Science Shampoo” brings up some interesting sites that tell you of the science involved with shampoo. Of course you will also get some junk sites or sales sites, so read and choose carefully.
It works even better with “science gum”, but badly with “Science Plants.”
